Why?
Uses Nikon glass, well most of the new stuff anyway. Sorry about those pre-AI, AI'd, and AI lenses not metering.
Excellent quality images, easy to master controls, runs on AA batteries (Yeah I know there's (2) CR123's, don't use the on-camera flash.)
All the reviews were good, and I was ready to go digital.
