Bogen/Manfrotto makes a 7'6" roller stand that is built extremely well and is just a pleasure to use. I have three of them and I mount my Avenger (D600 & D650) Booms on them. The set-ups are so sturdy, well made, the wheels roll perfectly, they fold up somewhat small, I leave mine self-standing.

Anyway, anyone looking for a reasonably priced boom set-up can pick up one of these on the ebay Calumet auctions (that is where I bought all three of mine) for about $60 bucks. Now you mate this to a Avenger Boom, such as the D600 and for about $170, you will have an awesome set-up. Of course the Avenger D60 is even nicer, but much more heavy duty and only a few bucks more.
