May I suggest shooting JPEG while you are on the learning curve.
RAW takes a lot of extra memory, forces you to add steps to your post shooting work flow and most of us can’t tell the difference form a photograph if shot RAW or JPEG.
I might also suggest that you pay strict attention to the white balance settings you use for every location. Later on, try RAW to see if it right for you. -Jim
