I use something similar up here in Canada that sells for around 150.00 CDN. It's distrubuted by Tristar.

For the most part it does the job but occasionally it will misfire. There is only one channel if that's a problem for you.

They can sometimes be fussy about the placement of the camera in relation to the trigger on the slave. I don't eaxctly know the cause but think it has something to do with my body blocking the signal or the studio head is blocking the signal.

I've seen similar kits to these on ebay for very low prices. You might want to take a gamble on one of these before you plunk down the 140.00.
