Paul, I didn't read all of the other responses, but what I'd strongly suggest is that you contact the tech department of the manufacturer of your lights, and ask what they recommend in terms of current/voltaqe/waveform requirements. I can tell you what Alien Bees require with detail, if it's applicable.
