Mr. Moyle and Mr. Smith both brought up some great solutions. I have a second hard drive that I use to back up my images. But, I still back them up to a cd. I don't use any software (other than the cd burning software) like Norton Ghost. I am not knocking it, but I burn the files directly as is onto a cd. Reason being is so if or when I do have a system crash, or a circumstance where I need to restore those files, I don't need to open up a program and then search for the cd they are on. Plus, I can then put them onto a new computer or hard drive without installing the software on that hd or system and worry about the license distribution thing. But with 11GB of images, you might want to get a DVD burner. An external might be the way to go. It gives you that portability, plus it won't go to waste when you get a new computer.

P.S. - I just checked CompUSA's website, an external DVD burner goes for anywhere from $100 - $400, depending on what you want, need, speed, and all of that fun stuff.
