I am just curious if any of you out there have tried using adapters and manual lenses. I am shooting with a 300D and recently purchased an adapter for Pentax screw mount lenses to use with my camera. It kinda takes me back to the days of using my K1000 that didn't have ANY auto functions on it. It takes a bit of getting used to, and shooting in stop-down mode can be a bit trying, but I think it is going to be a worthwhile experience. I am also wondering if anyone out there has replaced their focus screen with any of the third party ones that are available. It turns out that manually focusing a lens without any kind of focusing aid is a bitch. So, I ordered one today and am looking forward to getting it in and trying it out. Anyway, I am just looking for other's experiences, positive or negative.
