If you can live without the 2.8 and the IS then its still an excellent lens especially for the cost. Its the 2nd best lens I've owned for sharpness and speed only to be surpased by the 70-200 2.8/IS. Oh yeah and its still a white lens so that means it HAS to be good [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
