Maybe I'm just getting more anal as time goes on, but I think my film scans here lately are starting to suck sour frog @$$. The images are grainy, the color looks weak to me no matter what I do... just crappy stuff. Without resorting to tell me to just shoot digital (which I DID do for part of the shoot in question, btw), the quality of the chromes look really wonderful... it's just the scans of the chromes that suck hard.

So the question is, do you guys know of any good dedicated film scanners out there that accept both 35mm and medium formats that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks for any help you can give!
