I'm sure you will be happy with it and I should go back to ignoring threads like this, nothing against you, it's just that many people are looking for lower priced alternatives and I usually reccomend going with the best.
enjoy, btw, my friend (who owns both a 1D MKII and a 20D) often puts this lens on his 20D when his wife shoots it as it is a very versatile lens.
