While I have not run into this problem, I suggest, not just in this case, but in most cases like this, that you stick with what you know as fact works. There ain't no reason to suffer from the headaches caused by a battery not working or cutting out during a shoot of any sort, the battery screwing up your camera, or just not fitting at all. In my book, buying the more expensive battery that you know will work in your camera is worth the extra money. Get a second one while you're at it.
