Sam,

That Dynalite power pack probably pulls somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 amps. The Alien Bees pull about 8 amps, so if the Vagabond can power your Bees, they should be able to power the Dynalite powerpack. Call the Bees folks and ask, just to be sure. As far as inverters go, 7 amps at 110 Volts = 770 watts. I'd recommend an inverter that produces 1000 watts just to be safe. If you care for your equipment at all you should get an inverter that produces true sine wave output. Ergo, you're looking for a 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter. It's not going to be cheap. Probably in the neighborhood of $350.
