Good good good.... the 70-200 IS or not, is a very good lens..
For stands,... the ones that are included in the light kit are about as cheap as you can get.. flimsy hardware,...they aren't made to hold a lot of weight.. not bad if used just in the studio.. What I did,...and I am still glad I did 13 years later, is find an "Avenger" light stand catalogue,..and thumb through that!
I use mostly Avenger stands and accessories..(black) What are very nice (but heavier than hell)..are the "Lazy Leg" stands.. one leg can extend and can be locked down while extended so you can set up on the stairs, or on a hill, safely without having to worry about your equipment toppling over.. What's also nice about them is that they can hold a lot of weight.. I've had 30 lbs in counterweights, along with a monolight, extended over twelve high in moderate wind without having the thing break, or fall over.. The hardware on them..like the knobs are all oversized & metal... not those dinky breakable nylon ones..and I believe they still cost under 200 dollars each..They are very worth the investment..(that you can write off)..and there is nothing that sucks more than having your light weight duty gear break down on you on location in front of the people who hired,...or thought they hired a professional photographer.... There are other brands of light stands,....some ore ver popular like the "C-Stands"..but I don't care for them all that much.. I'd much rather have the above mentioned stand..
I could go over my Avender stand model numbers a little later and PM you with that if you'd like..
