This photo has very strong dynamic tension and I love the cropping. I think something would have been lost had your whole face been seen. There is just so much to be interpreted from this image. On a metaphysical plane, there is the concept of hiding oneself from view because of "imperfection" (akin to the Phantom of the Opera or the Hunchback of Notre Dame). There is also the "caged" feel caused by the wires and almost a strong yearning for freedom created by the expression and the "longing" in the eyes. Very powerful indeed! I could go on but suffice it to say that this is a very striking and powerful image in my humble opinion and congratulations to all who partook.
