Modeling light can be purchased at home depot or anywhere else you can buy a 150watt halogen bulb. Flash tube can be changed by yourself. They are a self contained unit. No pack needed to plug them into so if one light goes out you can still shoot with the other light or lights if you have more than one. They also have a built in cooling fan and many other features.
